What is people nation?

People Nation is a street gang alliance that was formed in Chicago in the 1970s as a response to rival gang conflicts in the city. The alliance originally consisted of four major gangs – Black P Stones, Vice Lords, Latin Kings, and Mickey Cobras – who came together to form a united front against their enemies.

People Nation gangs adopt common symbols, colors, and symbols to represent their unity and loyalty to the alliance. These include the five-pointed star, the number five, and the color red. People Nation gangs also share a common ideology and rules, promoting a sense of brotherhood and solidarity among its members.

The alliance expanded outside of Chicago and can now be found in other cities across the United States. People Nation gangs have been involved in a variety of criminal activities, including drug trafficking, robbery, and violence.

Despite their criminal activities, some members of People Nation gangs have also been involved in community service and outreach programs to help at-risk youth and address social issues in their neighborhoods. However, the alliance continues to be viewed as a dangerous and violent criminal organization by law enforcement agencies.
